Polish hip-hop was a medium through which young people expressed themselves and often paved the way to better social positions. The exhibition “Zajawka” explores the early fascination with hip-hop, showcasing the first decade of its development, initial attempts at creation, and the struggles typical of pioneers in any new field. The early results often took on a caricatured form, but for many teenagers of the time, these experiences were formative, shaping their later choices, tastes, and worldview.
