Tatra Lapidarium
The Tatra National Park Lapidarium features a unique geological map of the Tatra made from authentic Tatra rocks. Our task was to redesign this space and integrate modern and functional signage.

The information panels have been designed as large rectangular frames that frame the Tatra landscapes. Users can simultaneously view the linear profile of the mountainous landscape and compare it with the view within the frame. The calm, light color scheme of the forms allows the multi-colored rocks of the lapidarium to stand out. The typography and graphic design are aligned with the visual identity of Tatra National Park.
The project also introduces modern signage solutions that harmoniously blend with the natural surroundings. This allows visitors to easily navigate the space and gain a deeper understanding of the geological history of the Tatras, enriching their experience in this unique location.
