“Głusza” is a project that includes an exhibition created by both hearing and Deaf curators, offering a chance to explore a vision of the world built on signs and images. It illustrates how language influences our perception of reality and introduces the lesser-known but fascinating Deaf culture and art.
The exhibition takes visitors through the intricacies of typography, multi-sensory experiences, and multimedia. It encourages reflection on the role of language in cultural development and the understanding of differences between phonemic and spatial-visual languages, which include all sign languages.
