Having the opportunity to design the scenography for the exhibition at the Katowice Academy of Fine Arts, we aimed to capture the essence of both the “profession” of the artist and the space in which they work.
To ensure that each artist could experience the individuality and prestige of their own exhibition, we transformed the large exhibition space at Rondo Sztuki into smaller areas assigned to specific studios. We delineated these spaces using semi-transparent curtains – “gardins”, which are so characteristic of Silesia. Additionally, elements of the existing visual identity and references to specific projects were applied to the voile.

This simple approach allowed us to effectively partition the large space of Rondo, creating a series of “places” where visitors could meet in a more intimate atmosphere or discuss projects in a less formal setting.
